Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager with a background in retail technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. As an Account Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our retail technology solutions, meeting client needs and exceeding their expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the retail sector.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and align them with the company’s retail technology solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for clients and internal stakeholders.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track and manage client interactions and opportunities.
  • Experience in managing projects related to retail technology implementation and customization.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed business decisions and recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in account management within the SAAS industry or similar domains.
  • Alternatively, experience in business development, project management, or customer experience management within the SAAS industry will be considered.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and persuasive presentations to clients.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts, including forecasting, billing processes, and revenue recognition.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
